How to forget mistakes and not regret the past?
Did some shit, right?
Okay, that's normal. But how can you forget?
First forgive yourself, you will be stuck with yourself for a long time in your life.
Apologize for your actions or the consequences of this mistake and never curse yourself. You wouldn't accept being insulted by someone else, right? Don’t stoop to that point.
If forgiving will not absolve your responsibility, there is no magic. You have to understand and learn from your mistakes and make something useful out of it. This means making a plan and acting correctly in the future.
Forget about regret. Instead of saying “if I had…” say “now I know how to act when this happens again”, remember that you can’t change anything in the past — ever.
Focus on improving the now and consequently your future. Every action you take today is preparing you for your life tomorrow.
Nothing good lasts forever and nothing bad either. And if it's something bad, it has to change. Nothing is permanent.
Getting stuck in a rut or not being able to change your situation is a great danger. If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always had. Keep changing, improving what isn't working, doing something completely different from what you're used to doing or being.
Learn something new, do what you’ve never done before, think and do something that no one would expect from you.
Does thinking about it scare you? Great. If you're not afraid, it means you're not trying something worthwhile or taking enough risks.
Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. What really matters is what you do after this happens.
