About

I'm Gabriel Koerich, a software engineer from Brazil. I started coding at 13, and I have built production software for more than 15 years. I'm also the dad of a lovely daughter.

I studied business administration with a focus on finance. In 2013 I founded Algorit, a small software house that built custom web applications for clients. In 2015 I founded Bulldesk, a marketing automation and CRM platform, the first in Brazil to put both in one product. I built most of it myself, ran a team of developers, and handled the infrastructure, the product and the finances. I exited in 2021.

After Bulldesk I wanted to learn something new, completely different from what I had been doing. I wanted to work close to finance and learn new languages, and that is how I found Rust and Solana. I started as a freelancer, building DeFi smart contracts, dapps and SDKs, and learning the whole process and a new paradigm. Since 2022 I have been at Lulo, where I architect the DeFi protocol on Solana and EVM.

Today most of my code is written with coding agents. I run Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode in parallel with orch, a tool I built for that, and I wrote passbox so those agents can use secrets without seeing them. The skills they use are public in skills, self-contained skills that work with any agent that follows the Agent Skills standard. I'm also building a quant stack on Hyperliquid.

This blog is where I write about that work: Solana and Rust, AI coding agents, and shipping software, or whatever I feel like writing about that day. Start with the posts.

If your team wants help adopting coding agents, I take on consulting. The full history is in my CV. You can reach me by email, on GitHub or on LinkedIn.
